GPT-5.5 left ChatGPT and Codex (ChatGPT sign-in) on Oct. 14. The API is unaffected, and the GPT-4o and GPT-4.1 families shut down in the API on Jan. 14, 2027.

AWS has released Strands Box as a developer preview: an open-source sandbox that isolates AI agents at the OS level and applies rules based on prior actions. For now it supports only Apple silicon Macs.

Chrome DevTools' Performance panel now completes soft-navigation analysis for SPAs, and a new CDP command sets a CPU performance tier. The Soft Navigations API itself is not yet fully released.
